Product Detail

Products Details

TTPE® Clear TH890J is an ultra-heavy-gauge 200μm (8 mil) 5-layer co-extruded polyethylene cover engineered as the flagship clear model in our polyethylene greenhouse film selection. Built for large-scale agricultural projects and high-wind or heavy-snow regions. It serves as a premium, heavy-duty 200 micron greenhouse plastic that combines maximum tear resistance and structural rigidity with advanced anti-drip and anti-fog performance for multi-season commercial farming.

Key Performance Benefits

  • Maximum 200μm Commercial Gauge: Heavy-gauge 8 mil construction provides ultimate physical durability, exceptional tear and puncture resistance, and superior stability under extreme weather conditions.

  • High PAR Light Transmission: Maximizing usable light intake to accelerate crop growth and boost yield.

  • Super Anti-Drip & Anti-Fog Layer: Integrated long-lasting inner anti-drip additives prevent condensation droplet formation, eliminating crop drip damage and reducing fungal disease risks.

  • Advanced UV Stabilization: Fortified with high-grade UV absorbers and light stabilizers to resist sunlight degradation, thermal breakdown, and harsh environmental exposure.

  • Cost-Effective Heavy-Duty Coverage: Offers high structural reliability and multi-season lifespan at a competitive factory-direct price point for large commercial installations.

Recommended Crops and Applications

TH890J is engineered for heavy-duty commercial setups requiring high light penetration and maximum physical strength:

  • High-Wire Vegetable Farming: Tomatoes, bell peppers, cucumbers, eggplants, and melons.

  • Commercial Floriculture: Cut flowers, potted plants, and nursery propagation greenhouses.

  • Geographic Suitability: Ideal for wind-exposed coastal areas, heavy snow-load regions, and multi-span commercial structures worldwide.

How This Model Compares

Compared to 150μm (TH690H) models, TH890J provides superior physical strength, higher puncture resistance, and an extended service lifespan. For high-radiation climates where direct sunlight causes leaf scorch, explore TTPE® light-diffusing PE models. For extreme UV environments or long-term multi-year projects requiring maximum thermal insulation, consider our flagship GGPO® polyolefin series.

Installation and Correct-Side Orientation

To maximize physical service life and anti-drip performance, follow these installation rules:

  • Correct Surface Orientation: Verify directional logos on the film surface to ensure the anti-drip coated layer faces inside toward the crops.

  • Handling Protection: Take care during unpacking and mounting to prevent the film from scraping against rough soil, tools, or sharp structural elements.

  • Recommended Mounting Accessories: Use compatible locking profiles and wiggle wires to secure the film evenly without creating localized stress tears.

  • Frame Maintenance: Ensure structural metal pipes are clean and free from rust to avoid premature chemical and thermal breakdown along contact points.

  • Structure Geometry: Maintain a smooth, continuous roof pitch to allow rapid condensation runoff and prevent water pooling.

  • Installation Timing: Install during early morning or evening hours under mild temperatures to achieve optimal tensioning.
