BHB® White-Black-White Greenhouse Film

BHB® white-black-white film uses reflective white outer layers around a light-blocking black core. The structure is intended for applications requiring darkness, solar reflection and controlled heat transfer, including mushroom cultivation, light-deprivation systems, livestock buildings, covered storage and freight yards. The range includes 130, 150, 180 and 200 micron models.

Key Benefits of BHB® White-black-white Film

Light Deprivation

The black core is designed to block incoming light, making the film suitable for applications where controlled darkness is required.

For light-deprivation projects, buyers should consider not only the film's stated light-blocking performance but also seams, overlaps, fixing points and installation quality, as these can affect the actual light-blocking result.

Dual White Reflective Surfaces

The white outer layers provide a reflective surface that can help manage incoming solar radiation.

Depending on the installation and application, the white interior surface may also provide a brighter working environment than a black interior covering.

Multiple Thickness Options

BHB® White-black-white Film is available in four thicknesses:

  • 130 μm — BMN00J
  • 150 μm — BM600J
  • 180 μm — BM700J
  • 200 μm — BM800J

This range allows buyers to compare film thickness against climate, installation conditions, mechanical requirements and target service life.

For projects that require different greenhouse covering characteristics, you can also compare GGPO® Greenhouse Film and TTPE® Greenhouse Film.

Recommended Applications

BHB® White-black-white Film can be considered for agricultural and industrial applications where light blocking and reflective covering performance are required.

Typical applications include:

  • Mushroom cultivation facilities
  • Light-deprivation greenhouses
  • Poultry and livestock buildings
  • Covered storage areas
  • Freight yards and industrial covering areas
  • Reflective partitions
  • Other controlled-light agricultural applications

For crop-specific greenhouse applications, buyers can also explore Strawberry Greenhouse Film or TTPE® Blueberry Greenhouse Film.

How to Choose the Right BHB® Film

Start with the application requirement, rather than choosing the thickest film automatically.

Selection Factor What to Consider
Light blocking Required darkness level and application schedule
Film thickness 130, 150, 180 or 200 μm
Wind exposure Local wind conditions and fixing system
UV exposure Climate and expected outdoor service period
Installation Seams, overlaps, attachment and tension
Target service life Project duration and replacement requirements
Mechanical performance Tensile strength and elongation
Project dimensions Required roll width, length and folding

For greenhouse light-deprivation projects, it is also important to confirm whether the selected product is intended as a smooth co-extruded film or a reinforced structure, depending on the expected mechanical load.

Quality, Customization and Documentation

Before placing a bulk order, buyers should confirm the complete product specification rather than relying only on the thickness.

The order specification can include:

  • Model code
  • Film thickness
  • Light-blocking performance
  • Roll width and length
  • Folding requirements
  • Functional additives
  • Tensile strength and elongation
  • Packaging method
  • MOQ
  • Lead time
  • Regional warranty

Technical data sheets, available test records and samples can be requested before production when project verification is required.

BHB® White-black-white Film FAQ

Is BHB® White-black-white Film the same as black-white panda film?

Not necessarily. BHB® White-black-white Film refers specifically to a white-black-white structure, with white layers on both sides and a black core. Product names should be matched with the actual layer structure and technical specification.

Can BHB® Film be used for greenhouse light deprivation?

It can be considered for light-deprivation applications where its verified light-blocking performance meets the project requirements.

However, installation quality is also important. Seams, openings, fixing points and gaps should be controlled to maintain the required darkness level.

Which thickness should I choose?

The 130–200 μm range provides different options for project requirements. The right choice depends on the application, climate, wind exposure, installation method and target service life.

A thicker film should not automatically be considered the best option for every project.

What should I confirm before ordering?

Confirm the model, thickness, light-blocking specification, roll dimensions, mechanical data, packaging, lead time and applicable warranty before placing the order.
