Under intense sunlight, ultraviolet radiation degrades the polymer chains of standard polyethylene (PE) films, causing them to turn yellow, embrittle, crack, or completely weather away within a few months. Long-life films with anti-UV additives effectively absorb or neutralize UV-induced degradation, significantly extending the film's operational service life.

UV886 UV stablized greenhouse film Clear 200 MICRON is a brand new product honorably produced by BEIJING FENGLONG, in this film, a large qty of UV stablized additives are added to meet requirement of cruel environment. After reaching the end of its lifespan, the fracture strength remains above 50% of its initial value.

This type is a diffused light film which is suitable for elevated crops such as tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, eggplants, roses, etc. which have dense branches and leaves, and lacks light at the lower layer.
UV886 can reduce sunburn and keep the leaves fresh and tender for leafy vegetables (lettuce, spinach); Uniform flower color. No need for strong light emission, pursuing quality, uniform fruit coloring, and reducing 2 color in one fruit suitation.

Extended Service Life: Standard PE films last only 4–6 months, whereas UV anti-aging films generally offer a lifespan of 12 to 36+ months (depending on film thickness and additive formulation).
