Thermal Insulation Greenhouse Film Diffused 200 MICRON

Thermal insulation greenhouse film (also known as IR Thermal Film ) refers to agricultural coverage film manufactured by adding infrared barrier additives (IR Additives) or utilizing high-thermal-retention resins (such as EVA, Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate copolymer) into the base polymer.

While standard polyethylene (PE) film offers good daytime light transmission, it has extremely low long-wave infrared barrier capabilities (only 20%–30%). At night, thermal radiation emitted from the soil and crops inside the greenhouse escapes freely through standard film. Thermal film functions by blocking and reflecting this long-wave infrared radiation back into the greenhouse, effectively locking in heat.
Core Working Mechanism

Daytime Heat Accumulation: High transmittance of solar short-wave radiation (visible light and Photosynthetically Active Radiation, PAR) allows air and soil temperatures inside the greenhouse to rise rapidly.

Nighttime Heat Retention: High obstruction of long-wave infrared radiation (7,000–14,000 nm wavelength band) emitted by the soil, plants, and equipment suppresses radiation heat loss and slows nighttime cooling.

Products Details

Thermal insulation greenhouse film Diffused 200 MICRON is honorably produced by FENGLONG, this film is a diffused type which provide 90% transparency rate, and 60% diffusion light rate. good for plants in cold areas and plants which enjoy more lights on roots part. It provides a good condition in cold night to let plants safely get through the long night.

Key Technical Advantages

Higher Nighttime Temperatures: Compared to standard PE film, thermal film maintains internal temperatures 1°C–5°C higher at night or on cloudy days, significantly reducing the risk of frost and freezing damage.

Thermal insulation greenhouse film has these features:

Reduced Heating Energy Consumption: In heated northern greenhouses, high-thermal film cuts heating fuel or electrical power consumption by 10%–25%, drastically lowering overwintering production costs.

Minimized Nighttime Condensation: Smaller temperature fluctuations stabilize relative humidity, mitigating disease outbreaks caused by sudden humidity spikes (e.g., botrytis, downy mildew).

Enhanced Crop Yield & Early Harvest: Maintaining an optimal day-night temperature differential allows crops to maintain normal metabolism throughout severe winters or early spring, extending harvest windows and enabling earlier market entry.
